BULERIAS-FLAMENCO DANCE COURSE

This course is intended for students of basic advanced or intermediate level. It consists of 4 sessions of an hour and a half each, in which we will work on the palo por bulerías, collecting information on different resources used in flamenco such as "entradas, marcajes, remates or llamadas", which we can use in a "letra por bulerías".
4 Lessons

  1. WHAT A PATA POR BULERIAS IS AND CALLS- Llamadas 1h 30m

    We will learn what a "pata por bulerias" is and we will work on the different possibilities of when and how to use them while dancing "por bulerias."

  2. ENTRANCE AND MARKINGS- Entradas y marcajes 1h 30m

    We will learn different ways to go into the dancing and marking steps and moves over the singing, working on the difficulty in the form and execution.

  3. ENDINGS-Remates 1h 30m

    Following the same idea of the previous lessons, we will work on learning different types of "remates" (ways to end) to be able to choose whichever we feel like in each moment depending of how we feel or depending of the letra por bulerias.

  4. BUILDING A PATA POR BULERIAS 1h 30m

    We will review everything we have learned in the previous lessons and we will create a "pata" por Bulerías, using a specific letra (lyrics).
